Kate Shand is the visionary founder and CEO of Enjoy Education, established in 2006 to provide bespoke educational services tailored to the unique needs of families and students globally. Inspired by her own academic journey, which involved overcoming significant health challenges, Kate developed a deep understanding of the transformative power of personalised education. She believes passionately in building happy, confident, lifelong learners, through individualised support, mentoring, and an educational philosophy which recognises each student’s unique potential.

A globally influential voice in the education sector, Kate was a founding member and vice president of The Tutors’ Association, committed to raising tutoring standards across the industry. Her expertise extends to advising on national and international education initiatives, including accompanying former Prime Minister David Cameron on a trade delegation to China, and consulting UHNW and VVIPs globally on education matters such as building independent schools in Barbados, and influencing policy in the Middle East.

Kate’s commitment to innovation in education has earned her numerous accolades. She was recognised in Management Today’s “35 Women under 35”, the BBC’s “BBC’s 100 Women”, list, and featured as one of Brasenose College’s “Women of the Century”. Kate’s work with Enjoy Education has also seen the company win multiple awards, including the prestigious Education Investor Awards and Relocate Awards, and earn a coveted spot in the Spears 500 list of best private client advisers.

Enjoy Education’s philosophy, inspired by Kate’s personal experiences, is to provide strategic, tailored support which goes beyond grades to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students.
